EXISTING Policies made by Punjab and Haryana to stop stubble burning ....

 

The goait of Punjab and Haryana have announced a bonus of Rs. 2500 for small and marginal farmers who are yet to start such activity. 

1) In Haryana the state government has announced and additional of rupees thousand per acre incentive for custom hiring centres and straw Baler units to support their operational work. 

2) 13 district in Punjab and Haryana nursery measures like providing farmers the machines to prevent them from burning are required.

3) The supreme court has warned that their entire administration and police. hicrachy from the chief secretary to the sarpanch to the local policemen will be held responsible even if one instance of stubble burning occurs in future.
